TASHA NAMPIJINPA COLLINS

(born 1988, Yuendumu, NT, Australia) is a gifted Warlpiri artist whose work honours her father’s Ngapa Jukurrpa(Water Dreaming). A member of Warlukurlangu Artists since 2004, Tasha blends traditional Dreamtime iconography with bright, contemporary dot-painting techniques.

Her paintings often depict Puyurru, a dry creek bed that springs to life during rain. Using circles to represent soakages and flowing lines for water pathways, she weaves the ancestral story of clouds, rain-makers, waterholes, and the rainbow serpent into vividly patterned canvases.
